This collection of electroacoustic guitar pieces was recorded over the course of one morning and half an afternoon in a friend's guest bedroom.

The music is hugely time- and place-specific. The first five pieces represent a single, continuous, half-hour take, as do each of the remaining four. There is no use of sequencing, prepared loops or overdubbing. Post-production was kept to a minimum. There are mistakes, blemishes and hesitations. The clicks of foot pedals on the old timber floor often punctuate; the static from the amplifier creeps up on occasion; the natural acoustics of the room infuse everything. No effort was made to conceal these minutiae. Some of the pieces are fully-resolved compositions; others are largely improvised, one in particular purely unique to that day and impossible to replicate.
